The Culpeper County Board of Supervisors proposed changes to Minor Subdivisions that would have increased minimum lot sizes and reduced your ability to utilize your land as you see fit.
What Happened?
With your engagement, the Planning Commission voted down these changes and sent their denial to the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors. The Board of Supervisors accepted that denial and is no longer pursuing these specific changes to the Minor Subdivision ordinance.
But the Board may not be done yet!
Some members have pledged to continue exploring options to stop growth in the rural areas. The Greater Piedmont REALTORS® will keep fighting for Culpeper property owners and private property rights.
